I have been painting and decorating for 17 years. I was apprenticed at 13 to my grandmother and put me to work clambouring scaffolding to paint her hallway 'rose white'. With my father scouting for business during his vicarly duties I soon found employment amongst parishoners as a cheap, friendly and reliable decorator. For the next 6 years decorating was my main source of employment - I acquired the skills to wallpaper (including ceilings) to a high standard and became a card carrying member of the Dulux Trade Network. During the next decade my career took a different direction but in 2007 I took up the brush and scissors again to transform the walls of others. I work with many different paints and papers but recommend using the best you can afford. I also offer interior design advice and respect the 'eco' in dECOrating.
