Mobile Gardeners

A social enterprise founded in 2011 with landscape architect Paul McGann to create a temporary pocket park within areas of development at the Elephant and Castle. The project moved three times before closing in 2017 and has evolved into a support for local community gardening projects on two estates.

Pimp Your Pavement

My campaign launched in March 2010 to encourage people to plant life in their streets whether as a guerrilla gardener or with permission. The LSDC and Lambeth Council have supported the campaign.

Save Our Subways A campaign launched in December 2012 with Lyla Reynolds to champion the refurbishment of the Elephant and Castle subways rather than allow their destruction proposed by Transport for London and Southwark Council. We lost.

The Vanden Plas

My music making monicker since 2002. Santa Margherita was released in July 2003, an Essential New Tune on BBC Radio 1 and I have recorded several remixes for signed artists since then. In 2011 I released archive material on iTunes. If you need a disco DJ, call me.

Elephant and Castle Urban Forest

A campaign launched in June 2011 to raise awareness of the vulnerable old estate of 450 trees at the Elephant and Castle. Significant changes by the developer to the master plan were achieved and a commitment to replant in the wider area.
